I am a certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist at Nesta Clinic, which was established by me. I hold a faculty appointment at Biruni University, Faculty of Medicine (Istanbul, Turkey). I am also a Visiting Professor University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School as of 2022. I specialize in all aspects of fertility care and gynecologic endoscopic surgeries (i.e. endometrioma, endometriosis, etc.).
I earned my medical doctor degree at the Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (Ankara, Turkey); completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine (Istanbul, Turkey); and from there, a yearlong research fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Beth Israel Hospital, Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA). I earned a MSc degree in clinical embryology from University of Leeds (Leeds, UK); and a MSc degree in advanced gynecologic endoscopy from University of Surrey (Guildford, UK).
I am a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and actively work in the ESHRE Special Interest Group for Endometriosis. I am also a member of American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE) and the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE).
I have worked as a clinician and research scientist in reproductive medicine and gynecologic surgery for 10 years. My principal clinical research interests focus on quality and improving treatment outcomes through evidence based medicine. I have published more than 80 original peer-reviewed papers.
